Golden Triangle to Leh Heights Trail

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Visit the Qutub Minar and drive past the Lotus Temple, then visit Humayun’s Tomb. Continue driving past Rashtrapati Bhavan and India Gate. After lunch at a local Delhi restaurant, proceed to Old Delhi for sightseeing. Visit Raj Ghat, drive past the Red Fort, and enjoy a short rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk spice market.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Agra, the “City of Love.” Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel and freshen up. Later, proceed for a guided tour of Agra. Visit Agra Fort (including Moti Masjid, Octagonal Tower, Jahangir Palace, Diwan-I-Aam, and Diwan-I-Khas) and Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb. Also, visit Mehtab Bagh to enjoy the sunset view of the Taj Mahal. After the guided tour, you will have free time for shopping or can return to your hotel for the night.

Early morning, visit the world’s most iconic and beautiful monument, the Taj Mahal, to catch the sunrise (closed on Fridays). After the guided tour, return to your hotel for breakfast. Check out and drive to Jaipur, the “Pink City,” with an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the historic deserted city built by the Mughal Empire in 1571 using red sandstone. Explore the Tomb of Salim Chisti, Buland Darwaza, Diwan-e-Khas, and Panch Mahal. After completing the sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, continue the drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Jaipur. Visit Amber Fort, with an optional elephant or jeep ride. (If time permits, you may also take a tour of Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort.) Continue to visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and drive past Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Also, visit the Birla Temple. After the guided tour, enjoy free time for shopping or return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to New Delhi. En route, visit the Rail Museum at Rewari and enjoy tea or coffee with snacks. Upon arrival in New Delhi, check in to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to New Delhi airport to board your flight to Leh. Upon arrival at Leh airport, our G Experiences representative will assist you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. After freshening up, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Leh, visiting Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Later, you can explore the local market or return to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Leh. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, followed by a visit to Magnetic Hill and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Continue to Spituk Monastery, the summer palace of the erstwhile Maharajas of Ladakh - Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery (home to a 100-ft tall statue of Maitreya Buddha), and Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh. After the guided tour, enjoy free time for shopping or return to your hotel for the night.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a day excursion to Pangong Lake, crossing Chang La Pass at 17,500 ft. En route, make short visits to Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Upon arrival at Pangong Tso, visit the world’s highest seawater lake, which is shared between India and China, and spend some quality time at its scenic banks. After the sightseeing tour, drive back to Leh. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Nubra Valley, crossing Khardung La Pass, the world’s highest motorable pass. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked camp and freshen up. Later, explore Nubra Valley, including Hunder Village and Diskit Monastery. Enjoy a double-humped camel safari on the sand dunes located between India and Tibet. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

Overnight at Camp.

Early morning, visit Diskit Monastery to attend the morning prayers with the monks. Return to your camp for breakfast and enjoy some leisure time. Later, check out and drive back to Leh, following the same route across Khardung La Pass. Upon arrival in Leh, check in to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.
