Your Langtang Valley Trek 7 Days adventure starts after a drive from Kathmandu to Syarubesi via a private vehicle to make the journey safer and more enjoyable. After morning breakfast, you will board the private vehicle relax on the comfortable seat, and put your game face on; it's a long day’s drive but the diverse landscapes, lush greenery terrains, soaring deep rivers, waterfalls, and bustling-vibrant civilizations. On this day’s drive, your will also be able to catch a glimpse of the Himalayan massifs like Mt. Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Mt. Maklau, and other adjacent peaks as you move towards the beautiful Langtang Region.

The first destination of this day’s drive will be the Trishuli Village situated at the bank of the Trishuli River, the most popular river for white water adventure in Nepal. You will continue ascending to the Dunche and finally arrive at the Langtang National Park (home to Himalayan wildlife like red panda, snow leopard, ghoral, serow, tahr, grey langur monkey, musk deer, and over 250 species of birds). After a brief exploration of Nepal’s first-ever Himalayan National Park, you will drive about an hour downhill to finally arrive at Syabrubesi.

Take a breather and chill out after a long day of driving, relishing the Himalayan allurements; this will be your resting destination tonight. If you get motion sickness, it would be wise to pack some medications firsthand before this day’s long driving expedition.

After a scenic drive on the first day of your Langtang Valley Trek 7 Days adventure, the second day will be the day you will commence your trekking expedition. During the first part of this day’s trek, you will push for the Pairo crossing a suspension bridge; there are several uphill and downhill climbing sections as you keep pushing for the Bamboo Village.

Even though it's a beautiful walk, the trail starts to get steeper, and you will pass a large landside area before reaching Rimche; most part of the trail is stone and dirt with some steep steps as you move toward the Lama Hotel. But during the last stretch of this day’s trek, you will be able to enjoy a stable trek on a gentle path before finally arriving at the hotel. Enjoying the close-up view of Mt. Langtang Lirung, you will rest here tonight at the finest teahouse in the region situated at the bank of the Langtang River.

During the final part of this day’s trek, you will do a gradual climb that passes the old Lantang Village, a remnant of the village destroyed by the devastating earthquake in 2015, and finally arrive at the new Langtang settlement. It is a big day’s adventure today, as you will be exploring one of the major highlights of the Langtang Valley Trek 7 Days. After a healthy and nourishing breakfast, you will start your adventure on mild inclines; however, you will gain a significant altitude on this day’s expedition, and the oxygen level in the atmosphere will start to thin out. So, it is recommended that you enjoy a nice and easy-paced adventure and stay hydrated throughout the trek. As the lush greenery starts to fade out with the widening Himalayan vistas, you will walk across the yak pasture, buckwheat terrace, several small streams, and moraines.

You will also walk across the spiritual path decorated with praying flags, chortens, and mani walls as you pass the beautiful high-Himalayan settlements like Mundu and Singdum. After arriving at the Mundu, it's a gradual uphill trek as you move along the Langtang River and finally arrive at Kyajin Gompa. In this region of one of the oldest and most significant Buddhist sites (approximately 200- 300 years old), you will also find a government-operated cheese factory. If your arrival is early and you are still feeling energetic, you could go for a side exploration of Langshisha Kharka. From its vantage point, you will be able to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain peaks like Langtang Lirung, Mt. Ganchempo, and several other adjacent peaks in the Himalayas.

Kyanjin Gompa Elevation: 3,860 meters

You will trek to an altitude of 4,773 meters, Kyanjin Ri, from here you will be able to immerse in the magnificence of the Himalayas that offer spectacular views of the mountain ranges like Langtang Lirung, Tsergo Peak, Ganjala Peak, and Yala Peak. From its vantage point, you will be able to catch a panoramic glimpse of the entire Kyanjin Valley and the Himalayan glacier.

It's another steep uphill climb today, so you should watch your step and take a breather every now and then, staying hydrated constantly. Although the first part of this day’s adventure, climbing to the highest elevation point of the entire trek, is hard work, the magical and just breathtaking beauty from its vantage point will certainly make the effort worth it. After relishing the beauty of the Himalayan region and imprinting them on both your memories and reels, you first descend down to the Kyanjin Gompa and retrace your steps back to Lama Hotel.

Although it's a long day’s adventure, as it's a gradual descent to the lower altitude, this downhill trek will be faster and easier. Following the same scenic route across Mundu and Singdum will move along the Langtang River and finally arrive at Langtang Village. You will get enough rest period along the route and the opportunity to take a breather and just simply immerse in the beauty of this Himalayan exploration. During the last leg of this day’s adventure, you will descend down the old Langtang Village and move down the Ghoda Tabela, following the beautiful route alongside the Langtang River, and finally arrive at the Lama Hotel.
