5 Day Jordan New Year Tour: Petra, Dead Sea & Wadi Rum

After breakfast, depart from Amman and head to Madaba, famous for its Byzantine mosaics, including the remarkable 6th-century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.

Continue to Mount Nebo, where, according to tradition, Moses viewed the Promised Land. Enjoy panoramic views over the Jordan Valley and surrounding landscapes.

After the visit, continue to the Dead Sea and check in to your hotel.

Start the day at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, famous for its mineral-rich waters and exceptionally high salt content. Enjoy some free time to float in the water and experience this unique natural wonder.

Afterward, continue to Petra, one of Jordan’s most iconic archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Walk through the narrow Siq and arrive at the magnificent Treasury (Al-Khazneh), carved directly into the rose-colored sandstone cliffs. Continue exploring Petra’s remarkable Nabataean heritage, including ancient tombs, temples, and the theater.

After breakfast, depart from Petra and continue to Wadi Rum, one of Jordan’s most spectacular desert landscapes.

Enjoy a 2-hour Jeep safari through the valley, surrounded by dramatic sandstone mountains, red sand dunes, and unique rock formations. Along the way, learn more about the traditional Bedouin culture and the history of the region.

Later, enjoy a 2-hour trekking experience in Wadi Rum and take in the desert scenery at a slower pace.

In the evening, celebrate New Year’s Eve in Wadi Rum with a traditional Bedouin dinner, local atmosphere, music, and festive activities under the desert sky.

After breakfast, depart from Wadi Rum and transfer to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman for your departure flight.
