Taking in the very best of Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, our five-day safari visits three of the country’s most iconic destinations: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater with its jaw-dropping volcanic caldera, and the Serengeti. Every safari is different – that is the real beauty of it – but you will certainly witness some of the planet’s best wildlife in stunning natural environments. You will stay in handpicked safari lodges and a luxury tented camp, with a 4x4 safari vehicle and an experienced driver guide throughout.

Itinerary
Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced driver guides, ready to greet and escort you to Arusha and your chosen hotel. He will introduce you to this wonderful city and country. Journey time and distance: 1 hour, 55 km from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha.
Overnight: Kahawa House.
Plan: Half Board (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast).
After breakfast, depart your hotel with a packed lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy your day with game drives in the park and lunch at a picnic site. Late afternoon, arrive at your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight. This is a full-day activity; the drive from Arusha to Tarangire is about 1.5-2 hours.
Overnight: Martina's Retreat.
Basis: Full Board (Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch).
After breakfast, depart from your lodge with a packed lunch and drive through the lush Ngorongoro highlands into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater and spend half a day there game viewing, then ascend in the afternoon and drive to the Serengeti plains. Arrive at the Serengeti plains in the early evening and check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Journey time and distance: 3 hour, km from Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti.
Overnight: Makoma Hills Luxury Camp
Basis: Full Board (Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch).
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park, home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth: the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. Catch the migration as the herds instinctively move across the seemingly endless plains, following the seasonal rains. The wonder doesn't end there — you'll also spot an impressive population of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, and birds in the park. Meals and overnight at your lodge in the Serengeti National Park.
Overnight: Makoma Hills Luxury Camp
Basis: Full Board (Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch).
After breakfast at your lodge, you will leave Serengeti National Park — the first national park to be gazetted in Tanzania and one of its most famous. On your way, you have the chance to visit Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey's renowned archaeological discoveries, which include some of humankind's earliest known ancestral remains. You will then begin the long journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
