Return to Hotel: Return to your hotel to freshen up and enjoy breakfast.

Visit Sarnath: Explore the sacred site where Lord Buddha preached his First Sermon. Sarnath remained an active center of Buddhism until the twelfth century, with many sects flourishing before it was plundered.
Visit the excavated ruins, the archaeological museum (closed on Fridays), and the main temple with beautiful fresco work.

Lunch Break: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or hotel.

Weaver’s District Tour: Walk through the weavers’ district of Varanasi and learn about the lives of artisans and the hand-weaving process of Banarasi silk brocades and saris, a tradition mentioned in Vedic and Buddhist literature.
