Tour Overview

Visit Bosnia 5days

Sarajevo is the place where East meets West. Baščaršija is old part of the Sarajevo city where history and culture come together in most unbelievable way. Sarajevo is the political, social and cultural center of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a prominent center of culture in the Balkans, with its region-wide influence
in entertainment, media, fashion, and the arts. Baščaršija is old part of the Sarajevo city where history and culture come together in most unbelievable way.

Mostar is a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the economic and cultural center of Herzegovina. Located at the foot of the slopes of the mountains Velež, Hum and Čabulje, in the valley of the Neretva river at an altitude of 60-80m. The climate is pleasant Mediterranean, with the emphasis that the summer is extremely hot and long. When it comes to Mostar, it is impossible not to mention the Old Bridge and Neretva. The Old Bridge, one of the beauties of the city, is a bridge over the Neretva River.

Konjic is the town that connects Herzegovina with Bosnia. On the importance of any Herzegovina stock, the first association is the sun. Although on the border with a colder Bosnia, Konjic is not an exception in that sense, although in winter it is possible to embrace lower temperatures in relation to the southern chashes. The border between the regional parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina is most striking in this area. The Knjic has wonderfull place to visit and explore, we recomened to explore this ciy.

Itinerary

Arrival . Chek in hotel. Mostar was one of favorite towns in all of the Balkans, and a great first stop for a Bosnia 5-day itinerary. The old city center will made you feel like you are transported to the alleyways of Morocco or Turkey. Shops displayed beautiful glass bowls, hanging lamps, jewelry, and intricate teapots and tea cup sets. The mosaic cobblestone streets (though difficult to walk over in sandals) mirrored the stone gray buildings. Only the storefront facades were painted
in bright pinks, yellows, and blues. Many rooftops were orange, similar to other Balkan countries.Overnight in Mostar.

Brekfast. Chek out. Second of five days in Bosnia & Herzegovina itinerary, join a tour or hop on public transportation to one of Mostar’s nearby attractions. There are many shops and small tourist offices in central Mostar that offer day-trips to neighboring towns. The most popular day-trip from Mostar is to Blagaj Tekija, a centuries-old Muslim Dervish monastery that’s built into the side of a cliff and over the river. Kravice Waterfalls is another attraction close by for travelers eager to swim, but not willing to take the jump off the Mostar bridge. Departure to Konjic.Overnight in Konjic.

Brekfast. Chek out. Whether you are looking for adrenaline or relaxation time, we have the right adventure for you in Konjic: rafting, canoeing, hiking and trekking, Culture and Tito's bunker, but also the ethnic village of „Raj u raju “ (Paradise in Paradise), as well as the beautiful Boračko lake. Everything around Konjic. Choose the opportunity to explore this city. Departure to Sarajevo.Chek in. Free time. Overnight in Sarajevo

After breakfast in the hotel, we will start our day with a visit to The Sarajevo Tunnel of hope (Bosnian: Tunel spasa) museum. The tunnel was an underground tunnel constructed between March and June 1993 during the Siege of Sarajevo. After the Tunnel, we are going to explore the Old Town and city center of Sarajevo. As part of the City tour, you will see the historical monuments of Sarajevo city. This walking tour will provide you with information about every aspect of living in Sarajevo nowadays and in the past. You will enjoy a delightful mixture of Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, and modern heritage. After the Old Town adventure, we are going to enjoy an unforgettable panoramic cable car ride to the Olympic Mountain Trebevic. During the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, Trebevic was the location of the competition in the bobsled sport discipline. Today Trebevic is a favorite excursion place for the locals and tourists, where you can walk through the forest, take a bike, have exciting paintball fun in the Brus picnic area, or enjoy in the adrenaline park and have a crazy ride on an alpine coaster in Sunnyland entertainment park. If you are looking just for a chill we suggest you enjoy the natural ambient and fresh air sitting in one of the many mountain cafes surrounded by the amazing forest. Free time and overnight in Sarajevo.

Breakfast. Check out. Free time until departure to the airport. Although Sarajevo was under siege for almost 4 years in the 90’s during the Bosnian war, it’s now a bustling metropolis filled with hotels, shopping malls, and trendy restaurants. It’s a great place to spend two or more days during your Bosnia & Herzegovina itinerary. In Sarajevo, you might feel like you’re in any other European capital city! Sarajevo is unique because of its Islamic influence, which dates back to when this region was under Ottoman Empire rule (think Turkey). The central tourist district of Sarajevo is made up of a grid of alleyways filled with small cafes and craft shops, selling rugs, pottery, knives, and tea pots and cups. Small tables outside the restaurants are crowded with people drinking Bosnian coffee in the
mornings, or eating large slices of bureks (rolled, flaky pastry filled with cheese, spinach, and/or meat) and cevapi (kebab- like pita bread sandwich with lamb or beef chunks inside) in the afternoons and evenings. Time to transfer Airport for final departure.
