This trip will take you through stunning landscapes in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. Also, you will have the opportunity to ride a steam locomotive on a part of the railway that was built in the former Yugoslavia by its youth and the youth of 20 other countries in just 6 months, back in 1946. After that, transfer to the hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is free for rest and relaxation. Overnight in Sarajevo.Day 2 – Sarajevo Old Town, Trebević Mountain & Tunnel of HopeStart the day with a guided tour of Sarajevo’s Old Town, visiting key historical landmarks such as Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, one of the most important Islamic sites in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Kuršumlija Madrasa, Hanikah (Dervish lodge), and the Emperor’s Mosque.Explore the vibrant Baščaršija square, the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Bosniak Institute, Gazi Husrev-beg Library, and the historic Tašlihan.Afterwards, head to Trebević Mountain, a peaceful natural retreat known for its lush surroundings. Enjoy an exciting alpine coaster ride at Sunnyland and admire breathtaking views from the cable car.Visit the Tunnel of Hope, a crucial passage used during the siege of Sarajevo in the 1990s for transporting food and people. Overnight in Sarajevo.Day 3 – Herzegovina Excursion (Konjic – Jablanica – Mostar)Experience the stunning natural beauty of Herzegovina on a full-day excursion.Stop in Konjic and admire the charming town and its Ottoman stone bridge. Continue towards Mostar, home to the famous Old Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Visit the Turkish House, one of the best-preserved examples of Ottoman residential architecture, and the Karadoz-bey Mosque, an impressive 16th-century mosque.Return in the evening. Overnight in Mostar.Day 4 – Jajce, Castles, Waterfalls & Pliva LakesJajce is known for its unique beauty, as the only town in the world with a waterfall located in its very center.The Pliva Waterfall, one of the most beautiful in the world, is approximately 50,000 years old.Just 5 km from the city center, between the Great and Small Pliva Lakes, are the historic wooden watermills (“Mlincici”), believed to date back to the Middle Ages. Once used for grinding grain, today they are a popular tourist attraction.In 2009, they were declared a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Overnight in Bihać.Day 5 – Una National Park & Štrbački BukVisit the breathtaking Una National Park, located near the Croatian border.Explore Štrbački Buk, where the Una River cascades through a series of waterfalls. The largest drop reaches up to 18 meters.Enjoy scenic viewpoints and peaceful nature surroundings.Continue to the Japod Islands, where visitors can explore one of the oldest civilizations in the region and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Overnight in Bihać.Day 6 – Bosanska Krupa & Ostrožac CastleExplore Bosanska Krupa, a charming town located on both banks of the Una River.The town is dominated by the remains of a medieval fortress built in the 13th century.Afterwards, visit Ostrožac Castle, a historical site dating back to the Middle Ages.Reopened to the public in 1967, it later became a well-known sculpture colony, attracting artists from around the world. Overnight in Bihać.Day 7 – Semešnica, Travnik & Return to SarajevoOn the way back to Sarajevo, visit the peaceful village of Semešnica, known for its beautiful waterfalls and natural surroundings.Continue to Travnik, the former capital of the Ottoman Empire in Bosnia and Herzegovina.Explore its rich heritage, including Plava Voda, Travnik Fortress, and traditional Ottoman architecture.Return to Sarajevo in the evening.Day 8 – DepartureEnjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before transfer to Sarajevo International Airport for departure.

The climate is pleasant Mediterranean, with the emphasis that the summer is extremely hot and long. When it comes to Mostar, it is impossible not to mention the Old Bridge and Neretva. The Old Bridge, one of the beauties of the city, is a bridge over the Neretva River. Konjic is the town that connects Herzegovina with Bosnia. On the importance of any Herzegovina stock, the first association is the sun. Although on the border with a colder Bosnia, Konjic is not an exception in that sense, although in winter it is possible to embrace lower temperatures in relation to the southern chashes. Then takes you to somehow less visited but beautiful and interesting Bulgaria and then back to former Yugoslavia into Northern Macedonia. Its mountains and lakes will make you feel you are in the Alps, Orthodox churches and mosques will tell you you´re not. You´ll see some of the finest examples of medieval remains of the Otoman presence in the Balkans, you´ll see Venetian influences and their fine architecture. And you are going to realize ancient Greeks and Romans have considered this part of Europe rich and must have. Yes, from historical view point this tour is an eye opener. You´ll see some of the finest parts of Adriatic coast line and you´ll end up in magnificent bay of Kotor. In the area of Dubrovnik, which gives you the opportunity to extend your stay on the Adriatic in one of the fine towns of this area.

This 10-day Balkan Discovery Tour begins in Tirana with a short city tour and evening in the lively Blloku area, then continues to Shkoder for Rozafa Castle and onward to Budva’s charming Old Town. From there, travel to Kotor to explore its UNESCO-listed medieval quarter before arriving in Dubrovnik for a guided visit of the city’s iconic walls, Rector’s Palace, and Franciscan Monastery, with optional boat ride or cable car. The journey continues to Bosnia with stops in Pocitelj, Blagaj, and Mostar’s famous Old Bridge before reaching Sarajevo for a rich cultural and historical tour including the Tunnel Museum, Baščaršija, and Ottoman-era mosques. En route to Bihać, visit Travnik’s Plava Voda springs and Jajce’s waterfalls, then experience the pristine beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park before arriving in Zagreb for a city tour of its cathedrals, squares, and old quarters. The trip concludes in Ljubljana, with highlights such as the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, Dragon Bridge, and a boat ride along the Ljubljanica River, before departure from Ljubljana Airport.
