Turkey Agva Tours

Agva is a coastal town in the north of Istanbul, in the middle of Goksu and Yesilcay streams. It has been a transit point for many civilizations, including the Hittites, Phrygians, Romans and Ottomans. Remains of history dating back to the 7th century BC can be found in the surrounding villages. In the second half of the 14th century, Turkmen tribes from Konya, Karaman and Balikesir settled in Agva, and today's residents are the children of those same Turkmen tribes. The population of Agva is around 3000, but in the summer, especially on weekends, this figure rises to 10,000.
