Ahlat Museum

The Ahlat Museum first opened its doors in 1971 and relocated to its current location in 2014. The collection in the Archeological Hall includes artifacts dating from the Chalcolithic period to the Ottoman period. The museum is divided into four sections. In the Foyer Area history of Ahlat, information and images of the first settlement, Harabesehir Caves, can be seen. The Urban Memory Hall is an exhibition about the states that were ruled in Ahlat throughout history.
