Aidesim Mosaic Basilica

Aidesim Mosaic Basilica is situated approximately 200 meters southwest of Oylum Tumuli, and the archeological digs have been continuing since 1999. It has been known that the basilica belongs to the Early Christian Period, it is approximately dated to the 6th century AD. It was built with black basalt stone and limestone, and the interior is divided into three naves by two rows of columns. Archeological studies have unearthed the ground mosaics, covering an area of 800 meters square.
