Akcakoca Castle
Akcakoca Castle, also known as Genoa Castle, is located in the Duzce province of Turkey. It takes place on a cliffed coast to the west of the city. The castle was one of the stops on the Genoa trade route and has been added to the Unesco Tentative List since 2013. It is a Latin castle built in the 13th century after they captured the region. It is a promenade place today, covered with laurel trees, and west of the castle, visitors can swim at the blue-flagged beach.
