Akkoy Plateau

Akkoy is an old town in Urgup known for its old stone houses. It is about 30 km from Nevsehir's downtown and is a wealthy tuff rock source. The houses in the town look like Mardin houses. It has been known that the town was a settlement for centuries. The stone hotel numbers are growing in the region for few decades, and Haci Miktad Mosque can be visited in the town.
