Aladaglar, also called the Anti-Taurus Mountains, is a national park spread among Kayseri, Nigde, and Adana. Mount Erciyes is the tallest mountain in the range at almost 4000 m, and it is also the highest peak in central Anatolia. According to the ancient Greek geographer Strabo, the summit was always snowy. It was designated a national park in 1995.
