Ankara Ethnography Museum

Visitors can view the finest examples of Turkish art on display from the Seljuk era to the present at the Ethnography Museum. In the halls, local garments that are collected from the different cities of Anatolia, traditional rugs and carpets, and dozens of historical weapons can be seen. The museum is at the same time the home of some of the best Turkish woodworking samples, such as the 13th-century Giyaseddin Keyhusrev Throne, the 14th-century Ahi Serafettin Ark, and the 15th-century Merzifon Celebi Sultan Madrasa Gate.
