Ankara Painting And Sculpture Museum

The Ankara Painting and Sculpture Museum was established in 1980 and has 10 exhibition halls, 6 of which are always open for viewing. More than 700 of the 1114 paintings in the collection are on display. Along with numerous statues, visitors can view some of the well-known works of art by Turkish artists including Osman Hamdi, Seker Ahmet Pasa, Fikret Mualla, Ibrahim Calli, and Abidin Dino. It is situated in the province of Ankara's Altindag district. The structure was built in 1927 as the non-profit organization's headquarters for Turkish Hearths before being transformed into a museum. The structure is one of the earliest and most magnificent examples of the Turkish Republic's first National Architectural Period.
