Ataturk Museum

Ataturk Museum is located in the Sisli district of Istanbul province. After World War I, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk moved to Istanbul and rented a house in Sisli, which is now the museum. The house has three floors and belonged to Osep Kasabyan. He, his mother, and his sister have lived here for a while. Later, Ataturk went to Samsun to arrange the Turkish Independence War. After the war, he settled in Ankara. The house that is a museum today was bought by Erzurum deputy Hasan Tahsin Uzer, and he collected the materials about Ataturk here. In 1942, it opened as the Ataturk Museum.
