Athens

Athens is the capital and the largest city in Greece. It is the seventh-largest city in the European Union. It was founded between the 11th and 7th millennia BCE, which makes it one of the world's oldest cities. Nowadays, roughly four million people live in the city, and the Ancient Acropolis, the Pláka and Anafiotika Neighborhoods, the Ancient Agora, Hadrian's Library, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and Panathenaic Stadium are the most popular attractions in the country.
