Aynaligol Cave

Aynaligol Cave, also called Gilindire Cave, is located in the Aydincik District of Mersin City. It was discovered by a shepherd by chance in 1999. The cave, which has a total length of 555 m, a depth of 46 m, and a height of 22 m, is covered with all kinds of dripstone formations. In addition, the cave contains a large lake with a depth of 5-47 meters. The entrance of the cave is 50 m above sea level. It was declared a natural monument in 2013 and a nature park in 2021.
