Balikligol
Balikligol, or the Pool of Abraham, is a fish pool and has a few historical monuments around it. It is the place wherein Nimrod orders the prophet Abraham to be burned. Despite the various versions of the myth, the common belief is that Abraham was not harmed by the fire and that the fire turned into water and the wood into fish. Today, many carp are living in the pool, and it is believed that people who ate it died. It is one of the most visited places in Sanliurfa.
