Beach Cemetery

Beach Cemetery is the eternal resting place of the Anzac soldiers who died during the World War I Gallipoli Campaign. It takes place between Hell Spit and the southern end of Anzac Cove. On 25 April 1915, the first graves were dug and until 20 December it continued. In the cemetery, 391 Commonwealth soldiers are buried or commemorated.
