Bergama Acropolis Gondola
The Bergama Acropolis Gondola was built in Izmir's Bergama neighborhood to make it easier to get to Pergamon, an ancient city. Pergamon is one of Bergama's most popular ancient sites and is 331 meters above sea level. The project was created to cover the 3 km distance in 4 minutes between the Pergamon on top of the hill and the Asclepium site in the valley. Since it opened in 2010, visitors can ascend the hill comfortably.
