Beysehir Lake

Beysehir Lake is located in the Turkish Lakes Region, around the Konya and Isparta Provinces. It has 27 islands, both large and small, and is the country's third-largest lake. The lake and its surroundings are protected as a national park. The fish, including Asian carp and European bass, are living, and it is a resting and breeding place for migratory bird species such as the pygmy cormorant, the Eurasian spoonbill, the gull-billed tern, and the white-headed duck. The region's attractions include Fasillar village, Besik Rock, Korukini Cave, Yakamanastir Natural Park, and Eflatunpinar Hittite Monument.
