Bitlis Ethnography Museum


Bitlis Ethnography Museum is located in Bitlis Province, Turkey, in the city center. It was opened in 2005 in one of the best local, classical-architecture feature buildings, which was built from red Ahlat stone. The building is also officially registered as irreplaceable cultural heritage. The collection includes textiles, handcrafted works, knickknacks, and other items from the Late Ottoman and Republic periods. In the garden, visitors can see the stone artifacts.
