Butterfly Valley
The Butterfly Valley is a 4 km long narrow canyon with two small waterfalls and it is partially on the Lycian Way route. All these features make it one of the best-known and most visited travel destinations in the region. From 54 families, 147 flora species, and from 15 families, 105 native butterfly species that are living in the valley, have been recorded by scientists. The best period of the year to observe butterflies is from June to September. Plus, it is a good outdoor activity place; camping, hiking, canyoning, canoeing, and scuba diving can be performed in the valley.
