Cicek Passage

Originally the Naum Theater was located in the Passage's place which was by Levantine Catholics Michel Naum and Joseph Naum until it was destroyed in the 1870 fire. Ottoman Greek banker Hristaki Zografos Efendi bought the remains of the theatre, architect Kleanthis Zannos designed the current passage.  The name of the passage he bought in 1908 was changed to Said Pasha Passage; Later, Russian women and men who immigrated to Istanbul in 1917 due to the Russian Revolution, opened flower shops here. It has been called by the same name ever since and now a few of the best-known traditional Turkish taverns are located here.
