Cleopatra Beach
Located in the western part of Alanya's historical peninsula, Cleopatra Beach spans an impressive 2 kilometers and boasts a wide expanse of fine sand. The beach draws its name from the famed Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, who purportedly frequented the area and bathed in its waters. As the legend goes, there was even a tunnel leading directly from the castle to the beach that Cleopatra used for swimming. The clear and shallow sea, which reaches a depth of only 8-10 meters, is a hallmark of the beach, which is also distinguished by its golden sand and broad coastal area. It has been awarded the coveted "Blue Flag" status.
