Lara Beach

Lara Beach is one of the most popular beaches like Konyaalti, taking place in Antalya, 18 km away from the city center. The beach is popular and well known around the world that having countless visitors annually. It is 2 km in length and 45 meters wide. There is a range of lodgings, restaurants, cafes & bars, camping, and sun lounger rental options in the region. The seawater is clear, calm, and warm, it has been beliving that the superfine sands of the beach are good for rheumatic diseases.

According to Greek geographer and philosopher Strabon, the word “Lara” means “sand” in the Luwians language, who lived in Anatolia during the Bronze and the Iron Ages.
