Coban Mustafa Pasa Mosque
Coban Mustafa Pasa was a statesman under Ottoman Sultan Selim I. He was really a shepherd when he was young, but he joined the Egypt Campaign with Sultan Yavuz Selim and rose quickly. He married the sister of Suleiman the Magnificent and died in Istanbul in 1529. Although the exact architect of the mosque is unknown but it has been thought that Mimar Sinan was its designer. It consists of the following sections: a tomb, a madrasa, a library, a caravanserai, a hospital, and an almshouse. Its balanced geometrical order draws attention.
