Coruh Valley

The Coruh Valley stretches from the Mescit Mount in Erzurum to the middle and lower sections of the Coruh River in northeastern Turkey. The climate types of the Black Sea, Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia regions can be seen together in the valley; hence, it is a house of various greens. It is one of the most significant natural sites in Anatolia and is considered one of the richest floras in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. It is also near bird migration routes. It is a 150-kilometer-long valley with rafting opportunities in the Coruh River. Kafkasor Plateau, Hatila, and Karagol Sahara National parks are also can be visited in the valley. Plus, trekking, rafting, mountaineering, and camping can be experienced in the valley.
