Diyadin Village

Diyadin is an old city district of Agri Province, formerly called Daudyana. In the district, the historical ruins of Diyadin castle, Meya village ruins, and Tokluca castle take place. Throughout history, it was ruled by Arsakli, Seljuk, Ilkhanate, Karakoyunlu, Safavid, and Ottoman. During World War I, it remained under Russian occupation for about three years, and on April 14, 1918, it became a Turkish village again.
