Diyarbakir Archeology Museum
The Diyarbakir Archeology Museum is the home of the artifacts that were found around the city. The artifacts date back to the neolithic ages, and most of them belong to the Hittites, Assyrians, Romans, Byzantines, Artuqids, and Ottomans. The museum opened in 1934 and moved to its new home in 1986. A wide range of artifacts, from local garments, jewelry, and pots to Islamic ones, can be seen in the museum.
