Diyarbakir Ataturk House Museum

The leader of the Turkish Independence War, Mustafa Kemal, was appointed Corps Commander in the Silvan district in 1916, and he stayed in this mansion for 6 months. It was taken under protection in 1980 and opened for visits in 1982. The traces of local life and Ataturk’s artifacts can be seen in the museum.
