The island is renowned for its picturesque beaches and bays, covering an area of around 13.5 square kilometers. Despite its proximity to the Greek Dodecanese Islands, Donkey Island is part of Turkey. The island comprises two regions: Megalo Chorio, the Big Village, and Mikro Chorio, the Small Village.
