Edirne Turkish Islamic Arts Museum

The Dar-ul Tedris Madrasa, which is located in the Selimiye Mosque's courtyard, is home to the Turkish Islamic Arts Museum. By Ataturk's directive, the museum opened its doors in 1925. The city of Edirne has a wealth of historical artifacts because the province served as the Ottoman capital for 94 years. The museum contains 14 exhibition halls as well as unique artifacts like 17th-century Edirne Palace tiles, early Ottoman ceramics, and the manuscript Qur'an that Sultan Selim II gave to the Selimiye Mosque.
