Elbistan City Museum

The province of Kahramanmaras is situated at the Syria-Mesopotamia, and Cappadocia-Anatolia waypoints. Therefore, the area was inhabited by numerous civilizations. On the other hand, Elbistan, which is 130 kilometers from the city center, is home to one of the area's richest historical legacies. The district is home to the tumuli Karahöyük, Ceyhanhöyük, Kece Cave, Kurucaova Site, and Ulu Mosque. In addition, it is only 30 kilometers to the Eshab-Kehf Complex. The Elbistan City Museum houses the artifacts from these historic and archaeological sites.
