Ev Kaya Tombs

The Ev Kaya Tombs date back to the 7th century BC, during the Roman era. Naturally, it was cut on a rock block eight meters above the ground. The tomb has three entrances and three burial rooms, and each one of its visitors' bones feels the chill of death. Inside the burial chambers, the sidewalls are lined with dead cedars. A winged lion and a human are both carved in relief in the center of the pediment on the front facade.
