Fethiye Archeaology Museum

Fethiye Museum was founded in 1987. It has two sections, which are archeology and ethnography. Fethiye district is located in the ancient Lycian Region Telmessos, thus it has a rich heritage of ancient sites to see. The rare artifacts of the museum are the Trilingual Inscription, which was found in the ancient city of Letoon; the statue of a standing girl holding birds from the Roman period; and the ceramics, which date back to 3000 BC, the Izraza Monument and a Lycian artifact votive to God-Hero Kakasbos can also be seen.
