Gaziantep Castle

Gaziantep Castle is a Roman castle situated on the southern side of the Alleben Stream in Gaziantep. It was first built as a watchtower and then transformed into a castle in the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinianus, who is called the "Architect of Castles" in the 6th century BC. It has 12 towers and is one of the most iconic places in the city.
