Gulek Pass

The Gulek, also known as the Cilician Gates, is a pass linking the Taurus Mountains to Anatolia and the low plains of Cilicia. Its peak has an elevation of 1000m and it is one of the most major commercial and military arteries of the 20th century. Its southern end leads to Tarsus, and the northern end leads to Cappadocia.
