Gulludere Valley (Rose Valley)

Gulludere Valley takes its name from the soil's red color. It is located between the Goreme and Cavusin districts. The valley is the home of the cave churches of Yovakim-Anna Church, Direkli, Ayvali, St. Agathangelus, and Three Crosses. Among these churches, the Yovakim is one of the most visited churches in the region because of its very rare Virgin Mary fresco. The valley has an approximately 4 km trekking track, which is popular among outdoor sports enthusiasts.
