Hong Kong

The name Hong Kong means “Fragrant Harbour” and it is the geographical layout that makes it interesting. It consists of 2 distinct parts, the Mainland which breaks down into the central area of Kowloon and the outlying area of the New Territories, and the other, Hong Kong Island. Both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island are urban centers that are separated by the scenic Victoria Harbour. Hong Kong was a British colony until 1997 but has now reverted to a special administrative region of China. Hong Kong can be described as the place where East meets West which makes Hong Kong trip an exceptional destination.
