Istanbul Airport Museum

The Istanbul Airport Museum is located in the international section of the new airport in Arnavutkoy. It spans over 1000 m2, making it the largest airport museum in the world and opened in 2020. The museum will welcome temporary exhibitions annually. The first exhibition is "Treasures of Turkey: Faces of the Throne," which focuses on the ruler concept. 300 artifacts from 29 museums were brought to the museum for this exhibition. This exhibition can be called a miniature "Anatolian Civilizations Museum" due to its collection from the Hittite, Urartu, Phrygian, Lydian, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, Ottoman, and modern Turkish periods.
