The Izmir Art and Sculpture Museum houses work by Turkish artists. It was first opened in 1952 as an art gallery, and in 1973 it was converted into a museum. It now has 546 artifacts in its collection, including works by well-known Turkish artists Seker Ahmet Pasa, Hoca Ali Rza, Hikmet Onat, and Ibrahim Calli. In the museum of plastic art, conferences and activities are also organized throughout the year.
