Karatay Madrasa Tile Artworks Museum

It was built from Sille stone (a kind of stone with Volcanic and Andesite features, found in the Konya- Sille region) as a kind of foundation university for tafsir and hadith sciences ın the Ottoman period. It has a marble door that is a masterpiece of Seljuk period stonework.

Inside the madrasa, the domes are decorated with turquoise, navy, and black tiles and mosaics and in 1955 it has opened as Tile Works Museum after restorations. In the museum, Seljuk tiles, and ceramics, Principalities and Ottoman periods tiles, plaster ornaments, cabinets, tile plates, and oil lamps can be seen.

Plus tiles which are depicting hunting festivities, magical beliefs, the sultan, dignitaries, and servants taken from Kubad-Abad Palace which was built around Beysehir Lake by Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat wish, can be visited too.
