Kars Castle

As the historical resources stated, the city walls were 27,000 meters in length and made from cut basalt stone. It was damaged again during the 40-year Russian occupation between 1877 and 1878 but restored. It is now a popular tourist destination in Kars Province, as well as a historical venue for events such as concerts and Mevlevi Sama ceremonies.
