Kaunos rock tombs (Dalyan)
The 4th-century BC Kaunos rock tombs, which are carved into the cliffs alongside the Dalyan River, are thought to have been used for the interment of affluent city residents. The elaborate facades and decorative sculptural reliefs on the tombs display the wealth and authority of the Kaunos kings who were interred there.
