Kaz Lake

Kaz Lake is located in Tokat province, Turkey's Black Sea region. It is approximately a 40 minute drive from the city center. The lake spans more than 1100 hectares. The lake is situated on the migratory routes of birds; hence, two bird-watching towers and a guest house are available. 108 bird species have been detected, but it has been thought that more species spend incubation and winter times around the lake. Fishing can be done in the lake, too.
