Konya Akşehir Nasreddin Hodja Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography

Aksehir Nasreddin Hodja Museum was opened in 2007 in a 19th-century wooden house in Konya Province. It takes its name from Nasreddin Hodja, who lived in the 13th century and is a character in the folklore of Central Asia. He is the hero of numerous humorous short stories and satirical anecdotes. The museum has three floors and displays archaeological artifacts from the Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Iron Age, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods, as well as local garments and tools. One room is organized as Nasreddin Hodja, and one of his short stories is revived here.
