Koprucay

Koprucay is a 178 km long river that takes place in the Mediterranean Region of Turkey and is fed by the streams Ayvali, Karacahisar, Anamas, Kocadere, and Sagirini on the way. A great part of the river was declered as Koprulu Canyon National Park and designed as a place where people can spend time. It has been known that the Battle of the Eurymedon in the 460s BC occurred around the river, and in 190 BC, Lucius Aemilius Regillus defeated Hannibal near the river. The 14-kilometer part of the river, which takes place in the national park, is one of the most important rafting tracks in Turkey and has thousands of rafting enthusiasts every year.
