Lake Bafa

Lake Bafa, formerly known as Vafi or Camici Lake, is located between the Aydin and Mugla provinces of Turkey. It has been considered that the lake was connected with the sea once, but the alluvium that was carried by the Buyuk Menderes River has cut it. The lake is a stopover and breeding place for birds and various fish species.
